Emerald "EM" Rush

February 9, 1941 - July 14, 2014

Emerald “EM” Rush, 76 passed away July 14, 2017 at Carthage Health and Rehabilitation center. EM was born February 9, 1941 in Jasper, Missouri to Clarence Rush and Eunice Potter Rush. EM was a lifelong resident and served in the United States Army. He worked for Schrieber’s as a machine operator. EM was united in marriage to Sharon Turner December 11, 1976 in Carthage, MO she survives. EM is survived by two daughters Kim Switzer of Carthage and Nancy Bologna of California, four sons Vincent Rush of California, David Rush of Arkansas, Brian Switzer of Kansas and Jason Bonine of Carthage, four grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, one sister Sylvia Doswell of Carthage and two brothers Norman Rush and wife Lois of Carthage and David Rush of California. Body has been taken for cremation and no services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Ulmer Funeral Home
